Martin “Marty” Wesstrom currently serves as the Director of Rigging Sales at Mountain Productions. Marty, who began his career with Mountain as a teenager, has more than fifteen years of experience spanning across a number of positions. He was hired as a chain hoist technician, but quickly rose through the ranks, serving as a staging salesman, staging supervisor and rigging salesman, before accepting his current position. His comprehensive knowledge of the entertainment industry has proven invaluable to the success of Mountain Productions.

Marty’s success within the entertainment production industry can largely be attributed to his passion for innovation. Seeing a growing need for a more durable, longer-lasting “road case”, he developed the MTN BOX® line of products, which have been nominated for the 2016 Parnelli Award for Indispensable Technology.

The entertainment production veteran is a native of Wilkes-Barre and enjoys spending time with his wife, Jane, and their daughter. When his schedule and the weather allows, he finds peace while spending time outdoors, hiking, biking and enjoying the views the Wyoming Valley has to offer. In the ever-evolving industry of event production, Marty continues to help his team adjust to the environment and navigate through what lies ahead.
