The New York City Marathon is one of the biggest events for competitive runners all over the country. For the 2015 NYC Marathon, Asics and Mountain Productions worked on a project that would turn into the “World’s Biggest Selfie Stick”—a 90’ tall tower constructed of Mountain Truss columns that raises and lowers a camera for participants to snap some unforgettable (and never before seen) views of the visitors below. Using our premiere Mountain Truss columns, our engineers designed the tower with a footprint of 35’ 5” x 49’ and a total height of roughly 90’.
