In 2005, Rutgers hosted the Dalai Lama, who delivered the twenty-fifth annual Mason Welch Gross lecture to 36,000 people in attendance. The event took place in Rutgers’ football stadium, and Mountain Productions sent a crew with the SAM-550 mobile stage to host the event. Additionally, Mountain built two 25’ tall delay towers and two additional audio scaffold towers.
