For Election Day coverage, NBC transforms Rockefeller Center in NYC into Democracy Plaza—an interactive experience with a variety of exhibits for guests to engage in. While visitors take part in these exhibits, NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC, and many more networks tune in to this event for the election coverage. The ice skating rink even has a map of the United States, with each state icing into a red or blue color as the election race is covered.

This is a unique event that we have built staging for on several occasions. In 2012, Mountain Productions built a press room for NBC News at Rockefeller Center using a truss substructure to support the exterior walls.
