Its inception began in the early 1990s, but now it has become one of the biggest electronic dance music festivals in the world, with dates of the festival tour stopping in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico, and its flagship event taking place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Electric Daisy Carnival, presented by Insomniac Events, is an experience like no other and its massive scale of production is enough to drop the jaws of the most seasoned professionals.

For six years, Mountain Productions has assisted the Electric Daisy Carnival in building the enormous stages that have made EDC famous. The Mountain Truss HD System has traveled to many of EDC’s tour stops, standing tall as the main stage among the festival’s multiple performance areas. We’ve also built our Mountain Truss QB System as a formidable B-Stage at the event. In 2013, our engineers and crew made Mountain Productions’ history, and designed and built the largest scaffold structure in the company’s existence. The main stage scaffold wall stood 85’ tall, 56’ deep and an overall 480’ wide (180’ longer than a football field!). Laid end to end, all of the scaffolding required for this project would span over 50 miles.

We’re no stranger to enormous production requirements, and the Electric Daisy Carnival is an event that we’re proud to stage. Electronic dance festivals are known for their visual effects, massive scale, and bass-pumping audio, but the Electric Daisy Carnival stands on a level all of its own.
