In 2008, the Pentagon Memorial was dedicated in a ceremony that was attended by past Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, then current Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates, and over 20,000 people in attendance. The ceremony featured a music performance by the Navy Band and the Sea Chanters Chorus.

Mountain Productions provided staging equipment for the Dedication ceremony, which featured a large decked area, grandstand bleacher systems, scaffold walls, and more.
