The Rock in Rio music festival originated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but recently made its way over to the United States. This festival is known as one of the largest music festivals in the world, and welcomed a staggering 1.5 million people to its first year! Rock in Rio expanded to host events in Lisbon, Portugal and Madrid, Spain before heading to Las Vegas in 2015.

Rock in Rio USA was the first North American edition of the festival, and to promote the launch of the event, a stage was built and an exclusive promotional performance was arranged for New York City leading up to the fest. The truss tower stage, provided by Mountain Productions, hosted performances by Sepultura and John Mayer, representing the diversity of musical genres the festival offered. Mountain Productions also custom printed branded barricade covers for the promotional event.
