For the 2008 Ryder Cup, held at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY, Mountain Productions built a large stage structure with truss tower construction for the competition. The entire stage was clad in solid scenic panels, giving the stage the appearance of an open building. Custom stair access was built into the downstage decked area of the stage, and the Supermega Truss roof grid was capable of hanging Ryder’s lighting and production gear.

The Ryder Cup’s history goes way back to 1927, and was originally contested between Great Britain and the United States, until the invitation was extended to include all of Europe in 1979. The games continued for years, and is now a major competition in professional, and international golf. We’re very proud to have been a part of Ryder Cup’s decorated history.
